A four-course pathway that takes students from their first line of Python to designing, building, and launching their own AI-powered applications. Real code, real projects, real AI — taught by a founder who builds with these exact tools every day.
Each course is 12 weeks and builds directly on the last — just like our belt system
Students write their first real Python programs while learning to work alongside AI the way professional developers do. They master the fundamentals — variables, data types, conditionals, and loops — while learning how to ask AI the right questions, evaluate its answers, and debug code with confidence. Every session is hands-on: by the end, students have built their own quizzes, interactive programs, and games.
Students go from AI users to AI builders. They deepen their Python skills with functions, dictionaries, modules, and text processing — then use them to train their own machine learning model that makes real predictions on real data. Along the way, they build chatbots, text analyzers, and data projects while confronting the big questions head-on: how AI can be biased, how it can be tricked, and how builders keep it safe.
Students learn full-stack development the TechBelt way: HTML and CSS for the front, Python for the brain, and AI APIs for the magic. They build interactive pages with forms and user input, connect their apps to real AI services, and finish by designing and launching their own fully functional AI-powered web application — live on the internet, with a link they can send to anyone. This is the same architecture behind Bit, TechBelt's own AI tutor.
Students plan, build, and ship a major project of their own design, combining everything from the first three courses: Python, machine learning, web development, and AI integration. The emphasis is on working independently, the way real developers do — scoping the project, hitting milestones, debugging without hand-holding. The track ends with Demo Day: students present their finished applications to families, peers, and community partners, and earn their TechBelt AI Track certificate.
The AI Track is available as a partnership program for workforce development organizations, nonprofits, schools, and community programs. We deliver the full curriculum to your cohorts — live online or in a train-the-trainer model — with progress tracking built into every course.
Every course has defined skill milestones and a completed project — progress your funders can see and report.
We teach your cohorts directly, or train your staff to deliver the curriculum — whichever fits your program model.
Python, machine learning, and AI application development — the exact skills employers are hiring for right now.
Enrollment for the AI Track opens with our fall semester. Contact us for cohort dates, placement, and partnership inquiries.
