TechBelt Academy brings world-class coding education directly into Newark schools — no travel needed for parents. We handle everything; you just provide the room.
Our students build real projects every single session — from Scratch animations to Roblox games to Python apps.
We make it completely simple for schools. Four steps and your students are coding.
The principal signs a simple partnership agreement. TechBelt Academy handles all curriculum, instruction, and parent communication — completely free to the school.
We provide the curriculum, the Zoom setup for hybrid students, and all digital materials. The school provides a room with computers or tablets.
Parents register and pay tuition directly to TechBelt Academy via Zelle. The school incurs zero cost. Classes run once per week for 1.5 hours.
After 12 weeks students present their final projects at a belt ceremony held at the school. Parents, teachers, and administrators are all invited.
Our hybrid model means in-person students sit in the school room while online students join via Zoom simultaneously. You teach once — both groups learn together.
This gives families maximum flexibility while maximizing the number of students we can serve in every session.
Attend at school after dismissal. Use school computers or bring their own device. Hands-on with the instructor in the room.
Join via Zoom from home. Screen share shows what the instructor is building. Chat and unmute to ask questions in real time.
Every student — in-person or online — follows the exact same 12-week belt curriculum and earns the same certificate at the end.
Starting September 8th, 2026. One class per week per belt level. Maximum 10 students per class for personalized attention.
TechBelt Academy students receive a complete, structured, and rewarding coding education — not just screen time.
Every class is taught live by a licensed NJ Computer Science teacher — not a pre-recorded video. Your child can ask questions in real time.
Students build something new every single session. Games, animations, apps, and worlds — not just watching or doing worksheets.
After 12 weeks students earn their official TechBelt Academy belt certificate at a ceremony their parents are invited to attend.
Parents receive a brief update after every class explaining what their child worked on and how they are progressing toward their belt.
Families who cannot afford tuition can apply for a scholarship funded by our corporate sponsors. No child is turned away due to cost.
Students who complete one belt can advance to the next level. White Belt graduates become Yellow Belt students — the journey keeps going.
My daughter has never been this excited about anything school-related. She comes home every Wednesday talking about the game she built in Roblox. She is already asking when she can start the next belt.
As a principal I was looking for a STEM program that costs the school nothing and delivers real results. TechBelt Academy handles everything. My students are learning actual coding skills, not just playing games.
My son completed White Belt and immediately wanted to sign up for Orange Belt. He showed his grandfather the Scratch game he built and his grandfather could not believe a 7-year-old made it.
